Waterborne was shortlisted for the Spooktober Visual Novel Jam 2022! Huzzah! Next to winning, this was what I was hoping for. I initially thought I had a good chance, but after playing through so many great submissions and getting more of a sense of the competition standard, I wasn't so sure. But I'm happy that it did.

Also, to celebrate, I've done a new update to the game with a bunch more eater eggs. I've also removed the 'infinite pauses' in the game as they seemed to confuse and frustrate the player in the few play through videos I've seen.
